History Of Shyam Surat Manav Vikas Adhyayan Sansthan

Shyam Surat Manav Vikas Adhyayan Sansthan was founded in 1993 and registered under the Society Act 1860. The organisation has been working in Unnao, Hardoi, Raibareilly, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Varanasi, Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad and other Districts of Uttar Pradesh. The organisation has been working for about 28 years for the welfare of poor and disadvantaged sections of the community by encouraging their active participation at all levels so as to develop a self- reliant society with a focus on socio-economic empowerment of the community specially woman as decision makers in the development process.

It has been undertaken various programmes in the field of Health & Family Welfare, Literacy, Education & Vocational Training, Environment & Sanitation, Agriculture Development, Skill Development, Swacchata work, Handicrafts development, youth programmes, Women Empowerment with the aim focus on integrated development of society. The projects of Shyam Surat Manav Vikas Adhyayan Sansthan range from one-off humanitarian actions in response to a specific urgent need to long- term residential care and delivery of basic services in marginalised communities.
